About The Kept Day
The Kept Day documents weddings with a calm, story focused approach. Coverage is intentional, portraits are considered, and the final gallery is curated to reflect the rhythm and meaning of the day rather than its volume.
This is not about manufacturing moments or overshooting everything that moves. It’s about paying attention to what’s already there and preserving it thoughtfully.

The Kept Day is led by photographer Jason Reagan.
My work is rooted in observation rather than direction. I pay attention to how people move through a day, how moments unfold, and how meaning often lives in the quieter spaces in between.
I don’t believe a wedding needs to be staged or overshot to be remembered well. I approach each day with intention, creating space for things to happen naturally while stepping in when clarity, structure, or strong portraiture is needed.
The goal is simple: photographs that feel honest to the experience of the day, and a final gallery that reflects what mattered, not just what happened.
